What you need to know
When should I get tested?
With no symptoms, it is recommended to get tested after a period of 10 to 14 days following exposure. For HIV, a period of 15 days is recommended.
How long does it take to get my results?
Usually within 24 hours. After you provide your sample to the laboratory, your results will be delivered quickly. While some tests are fast and give near-instant results, others may take longer. Your results will be sent to you directly by email.
How long does the appointment last?
About 15-20 minutes. The whole process is very fast and confidential.
Is a medical referral required to get tested?
No, you don’t need one. By booking with us, you will also book a consultation with one of our health professionals. A prescription will be given to you at the end of your consultation. Simply book an appointment on our website and come to the clinic for a test. Your prescription will be provided.
Will my private insurance cover the cost of the test?
Yes, most private insurance companies will cover the fees. We will provide you with a detailed receipt that you can use to file your insurance claim. For more information, please check with your insurer as it depends on your coverage.
Why should I get tested?
Testing is the only way to confirm whether you have a sexually transmitted infection/disease. Some STIs have no symptoms and can cause serious and permanent damage to your health if not treated properly at an early stage.

Yes, we recommend that you get tested even if you have no symptoms. Some STIs may present no symptoms.

You can easily be infected without realizing it because it often has no symptoms. If not treated properly at an early stage, it can lead to serious health/reproductive problems in both men and women. It is easily transmitted during unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex. If detected early, it can easily be cured with the right medication and treatment.

They usually appear in, on and around the penis, vagina, rectum, lips and mouth.
