Do I need a prescription to get tests done?

Yes, a prescription is required for most tests. If you don’t have one, our health professionals can assess you and issue one on site.

Can I get my prescription during my appointment?

Yes. Simply book a medical consultation. Your prescription can be issued during the appointment, followed by the tests in clinic.

Do I need two appointments (consultation + tests)?

No. If you see a health professional at the clinic, your tests can generally be done immediately after your consultation.

How will I receive my results?

Your results are sent securely via your online patient portal, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

Do I need to fast before my appointment?

Some tests require fasting. This requirement should be indicated on your requisition. If in doubt, feel free to contact us at [email protected] with your question.

Does my insurance cover the tests?

Most private insurers cover laboratory tests, depending on your plan. Please note that our services are not covered by RAMQ. We recommend contacting your insurer in advance to confirm your coverage. A detailed receipt is provided so you can submit your reimbursement claim.

How long does the appointment take?

Most testing appointments last about 15 minutes.

Can I come without an appointment?
